Default Does anyone decorate for a chain store?

I'd love to hear ideas from others about how to balance efficiency, quality, and keeping the stock cakes varied and exciting. I work part time at a DQ and I generally decorate 25-35 cakes per 5-6 hour shift. Efficiency is a MUST. But sometimes I feel I'm just doing the same things over and over. We have certain designs that sell really well so I feel like I need to keep those in stock. But otherwise I'd really like to jazz up the cake case a little. I need ideas!
