Default Christmas Crunch Cake (Pumpkin) Recipe

Christmas Crunch Cake (Pumpkin) Recipe is an excellent dessert to have on all season. No one will imagine that the Christmas Crunch Cake can be prepared with pumpkin as a base ingredient. You can very well keep the pumpkin part a secret from the guest. As a surprise if you tell them later, once they have tasted it, they will go wow and will end up having 3 – 4 pieces.

Ingredients required:

  • 15 – ounces of pumpkin (puree)
  • 1 can of milk, that is 12 – ounce liquid base in evaporated condition
  • 4 white and yellow of eggs
  • 1 1/2 (200 ml) cups of sugar (white)
  • 2 medium size teaspoons spice (pumpkin)
  • 1 medium size teaspoon of salt
  • 1 yellow cake mix packet (18.25 ounces)
  • 1(200 ml) cup chopped pecans
  • 1 (200 ml) cup margarine (melted)
  • 1 container that is 8 - ounce of nicely whipped, and thawed frozen toppings


  1. Take an oven and preheat it to 3500 F - degrees. Then take a baking pan size – 9 by 13 inches and grease the inner part.
  2. Now take a pretty large bowl, in that, we will take 6 ingredients, 1. Pumpkin, 2. Milk (evaporated), 3. Eggs, 4. Sugar, 5. Pumpkin pie (spices), and 6. Salt. We mix all that 6 ingredients nicely, and spread well over the greased pan.
  3. On top of the pumpkin mixture sprinkle cake mixture, then pat it down. Take chopped pecans and sprinkle it evenly on the pot of the cake mixture, then take margarine drizzle it over.
  4. Bake it for 1hour - 20 minutes. When it’s ready and at the time of serving whips the topping over it.
